Description

“Thor tops himself again and again.” —BookReporter.com “Feels like the TV show 24 on the page.” —The Associated Press #1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor presents his greatest thriller ever—an action-packed literary tour de force! Hidden deep within one of the world’s most powerful organizations is a secret committee with a devastating agenda. Its members are afforded incredible protections—considered elites, untouchables. But when four seconds of video is captured halfway around the world and anonymously transmitted to D.C., covert wheels are set in motion, and counterterrorism operative Scot Harvath is tapped to undertake the deadliest assignment of his career. What begins as a favor will evolve into a globe-spanning drama of highly personal stakes played out against a backdrop of stunning international intrigue, duplicitous political gamesmanship, and the darkest, most clandestine fears of the espionage world. With razor-sharp plotting, richly rendered characters, and heart-stopping surprises on every page, Thor isn’t just at the top of his game—he owns the entire genre.

As always, Brad Thor delivers a great read in The Code of Conduct. Scot Harvath and his group have been tested time and time again, coming through for the people they protect. The story line is chilling, to say the least. You won't regret getting this one. I couldn't put it down.

The world is a safer place for Freedom with Brad Thor on point. It is comforting to know that he also has my six!

I downloaded this to read while on vacation at the beach, which I'm glad I did, otherwise I would've missed work to keep on reading! It was hard to put down and I finished it in 2 days. The descriptions and details put you right in the middle of the action. The suspense keeps you turning the page, and the plot is not only terrifying - it's believable. Those who have commented negatively about the book being a bunch of right-wing ranting need to get their heads out of the sand and start paying attention to what's really going on in the world. Although this book is a work of fiction, it's well researched...and it leaves the reader thankful that there are real people who fight for our safety and stand up to evil every day.

A very bad read. Plot is not realistic and the character development poor. Poorly written book.

This book is decent. I will recommend others to read this book. What bothered me a bit about this book is that the action took a while to start but other than that I enjoyed reading this book
